The snow fell for a total of about an hour. Maybe. A little sleet too. But the grass and roads never showed a hint of white. Jacob did manage to go outside for about ten minutes and gather one single handful of snow/sleet from the mulch to show me. Bless his heart. No school today, and he just waited and waited for the snow to come. And it never did. He wore his ski bibs most of the day, part of the time with his boots and coat on. He spent lots of time dragging around his sled, carrying toys in it. He even used it as a couch to watch some TV. And he enjoyed a picnic lunch of a peanut butter sandwich with chips while sitting in it. Stupid winter. There was no need to tease us. We have been craving a big snow and thought we might get it today. Oh well. A day off with the kiddos. Turned out to be a relaxing winter snowed-in day, even without the snow.
