So Cool

For the past two weeks, we've been watching Olivia get up on all fours again. She lost so much endurance from being sick and she's done very little walking since then. Discouraging, but she's back on all fours, which she hasn't been interested in doing since she started standing and walking back around Christmas. (She's a master scooter- she really doesn't even roll over much anymore.) Even Jeanine has said it seemed Olivia would skip crawling all together.

So for two weeks, we've watched as she gets on all fours. Right knee, left knee, right hand, right hand, pause, right knee, pause. No pattern really, but she's putting a lot of energy in trying to figure the whole thing out. And we keep thinking, do we count that as crawling?

Just a few minutes ago, she got up on all fours with a toy in her sights and crawled about a foot so she could reach it. She even picked up one hand off the floor to grab the toy.

I'm counting that one as official crawling.

So exciting! So cool!!
