He took her for a fitting for her nighttime braces, then picked up Jake from school a little early to make sure he had time to fix his hair. Jacob was a skater boy. Purple mohawk, t-shirt, torn pants, shoes with no laces, and a skateboard. Easy costume.
They came to my office for trick-or-treating there.
We went for an early dinner at Outback (even though we were heading to dinner club later- I only snacked at the office for lunch and was hungry). Then on to Matt and Millie's for her annual Halloween party. It used to be a big party, but now it's just dinner club. With eight kids, it's the perfect sized party.
Dinner, trailer ride around the neighborhood to trick-or-treat, and back to the house for cupcakes and smores.
