Finger Stretches

Sheila the OT came this afternoon after I got home. She put Olivia's hands in warm water to play with toys for about ten minutes. Then she covered O's hand with her own and tried to make a fist. Olivia didn't mind it much, except a few moments when it obviously was uncomfortable. Sheila was able to get Olivia's fingers to touch her palm, held the stretch for about five minutes without letting go and you could see a little bit of bend in the middle joints. Sheila seems to think we will be able to get more stretch out of those fingers at time goes on. Great, great news. I like this woman!
