Christmas season 2007 in review

Olivia had pictures at MMO,
but Brian had his own photo session beforehand. (His pictures were better.)

Stephen, Steph and Maca came up the first weekend in December.
Here's Stephen and Jacob. I'm pretty sure this is the only picture of them
SITTING STILL.

Christmas at the Geer's was early this year, and unseasonably warm.
We were able to head downtown (and stay a while) for pictures after dinner.

Stephen was eating sweet potatoes with his hands.
Brian told him to rub his hands in his hair, which he did. Funny boys.

Christmas with the Beane family on December 15th.

Christmas Eve at home. Jacob and Olivia sitting at the tree,
enjoying each other's company.

Jacob wanted to leave Santa a thank you note.
And we had planned to bake cookies, but Brian forgot to get sugar cookie dough.
Plan B: Bake some of the chocolate chip cookies left in the fridge. Started watching "It's a Wonderful Life" and ran out of time.

Plan C: Use oreos. Then Brian told us that he ate them all.

Plan D: Animal crackers.

Timeline:

11:00 p.m. xmas eve: Kids FINALLY go to sleep

11:00-2:30: Santa arrives sometime during this time.
2:30: Jacob wakes up, checks out the santa stash,
wakes up mom, she checks out santa stash and goes back to bed.
2:30-5:30: Jacob stacks and restacks presents.
Tries to wake up mom again at 4:58,
but mom reminds him that we are not getting up until 5:30.
5:30: Alarm. Couldn't stand to wake up Olivia. Let Jacob open his presents.
Heard many times, "How did Santa know?" and "I've wanted this my whole life!"

6:30: I went back to bed. Brian left for work. Jacob kept playing.
6:30-9:00: At some point, Jacob got in bed with me and went to sleep.
9:00: I woke up. Cleaned up the living room.
9:20: Olivia woke up. Let her open her presents.
She played with kitchen and rode her Dora 4-wheeler.

12:30: Jacob finally wakes up.
12:30-4:30: Lazy day. Played. Ate. O took a nap.
TV stayed on channel 37 all day. (24 hours of "A Christmas Story")
4:30-7:30: Dinner and hanging out with dad at the firehouse.
