Jeanine brought over some aquariums for the yard sale, and Jacob convinced Brian to let him keep one. So the discussion of fish came up yesterday.
Jacob: Dad, can we get some fish for my aquarium.
Dad: Sure.
Jacob: How many can I get?
Dad: Maybe four. You need at least one algae fish, because they help clean the tank.
Jacob: I might need TWO allergy fish.
I told Brian that if ANYONE deserves allergy fish in this family, it's him. (He's had four sinus surgeries and has lived on predisone for years and years now...) Of course, now that I think about it, Jacob hasn't been able to breathe through his nose since he was a toddler. Apparently, we need to move to the desert.
Allergy fish. We'll take half a dozen please.
